Local Government Compliance Solutions
One recent significant challenge facing local authorities is the mandatory requirement of being connected to the Government Connect Secure Extranet (GCSX) that each connecting organisation has to submit a new Code of Connection (CoCo) assessment annually. This has presented a potentially time-consuming, labour-intensive task for local authorities.
EQALIS, working closely with local authorities, realised the potential of using Splunk to deliver the CoCo requirements and wrote a specific application for Splunk to address the specific CoCo requirements.
EQALIS have to date helped many local authorities to achieve compliance with the Government Connect CoCo standard and are now helping to address the requirements of Version 4.1. as well as other challenges such as PCI DSS.
More recently, EQALIS has been working closely with both central and local government to incorporate the new requirements of GPG13. To find out how we can help with GPG13 compliance please see our Blog about GPG13 or download our paper called "GPG13 Compliance using Splunk".
