What does it do?

Splunk for Network Operations is an integrated set of reports and dashboards custom built for the network operations team.

Network Changes

Historical and real time reports and graphs showing changes made across the network. Identify who is making the changes and to which devices. Are people making changes during the day and what configuration did they apply? You get all of this and more from the Changes module.

Netflow:

Splunk for Network Operations turns Splunk into a Netflow collector and gives you an application level perspective on network troubleshooting. Get the relative combination of applications, top

talkers and listeners without having to deploy costly collection devices.

The Netflow module can collect netflow data from devices that support it and presents graphical and tabular reports to show traffic patterns over a given period of time.

Syslog:

Traditional red light / green light monitoring systems only give you half the picture. By identifying network hotspots and resolving issues before they cause outages you will improve service levels and reduce costs.

The syslog module includes pertinent reports and tables to identify problem areas for pro-active

investigation. Quickly drill down to the root cause using Splunk.

ISDN:

For organisations that use ISDN as WAN back up a common problem is poorly configured routers. These reports and charts immediately identify misconfigured costly links and link usage to arm you with the information you need to cut costs.
