PCI version 2 on its way.

The Payment Card industry Security Standards Council (PCI-SCC) has announced the next issue of PCI-DSS is going to be version 2. Previously we have only had minor revisions 1.0 to 1.1 & 1.2 so moving up to V2.0 seems like a big step.

EQALIS Advisor App

The EQALIS Advisor for monitoring app includes useful pre-built searches and alerts to help maintain your Splunk implementation. It ensures your deployment is functioning just the way you planned it.

We plan to add more items as we find them.

Currently the following reports are available:

Color-coded count of the number of license violations currently logged.
Scheduled search to look for any new license violations since the last violation and optionally sends an alert email.
Graph showing the percentage of license usage calculated daily for the last 7 days.
Count of the number of forwarders who have not forwarded any data in the last 24 hours.
Table showing all forwarders that have not forwarded any data in the last hour.
Table showing all Deployment Clients that have not polled for a day
Table showing if any apps failed when being depoyed to a client
