Infoblox rated a “Strong Positive” in Gartner Report

Infoblox has been rated a “Strong Positive” in Gartner Research’s DDI* MarketScope report for the second year in a row. Infoblox are the only company so honored.

According to Gartner, a “Strong Positive” rating indicates that a vendor is viewed as a provider of strategic products, services or solutions, with whom existing customers should continue planned investments and potential customers should consider a strong choice for strategic investments. In short, Gartner views Infoblox as the best possible combination of an excellent product and strong and vibrant company which will continue to improve its product offerings. Gartner also states that Infoblox is the clear market share leader.

According to Gartner, Infoblox strengths include:

“A strong global sales and distribution channel has enabled Infoblox to maintain its dominant market share (Gartner estimates over 40%, as measured by revenue) in the DDI market."

“Customer feedback about Infoblox’s grid technology, which enables DNS/DHCP reliability and availability, is highly favorable. Customers state that the grid simplifies several operational tasks, including distributing software updates and replacing failed units. The grid also simplifies disaster recovery processes."

“Several customers commented favorably about BloxTools, Infoblox's API for developing custom applications. Infoblox sponsors a portal where customers share their applications.“

The resiliency and high availability of the Infoblox GRID was also stated as one of the main reasons customers have continued to switch from competitive products to Infoblox over the past year.

Infoblox is a growing, profitable company, with five times the number of customers as the second place competitor.

The report also noted that Infoblox is the market leader in patented technology, adding several key patents over the past year. 

For the reasons stated above Infoblox is the clear leader in the DDI market and getting stronger by adding Network Change and Control functionality to its products.
